ROBIN B ANDERSON FIA Scot (Est) – Managing Director

Robin joined Wallets in July 1980, gradually working his way up through the ranks, being appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive in August 1995. He is in full charge of all company related matters as well as being the cattle auctioneer. He is a past president of the Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers in Scotland. Despite a busy routine he is very keen to ensure that he is available at all times to discuss your requirements.

ANDREW GOLD – Senior Sheep Auctioneer

Andrew joined Wallets in 2009  having started his career at Longtown Market.  Andrew is senior sheep auctioneer and also assists at cattle sales as and when required.  He is heavily involved in Lower Nithsdale Young Farmers and is currently studying for auctioneering degree.

ALISTAIR STEWART – Deadweight Procurement/Livestock Fieldsman

Alistair is also well known throughout the South West area having worked for Wallets since 1993. Whilst the majority of his time is spent sourcing primestock for our deadweight marketing division, Galloway Primestock, Alistair also canvasses store, prime and breeding stock for the market. Again if you want any advice on deadweight marketing then Alistair is on hand at all times.

ANDREW WATSON – Office Manager

Andrew joined Wallets as a clerk on leaving school in 1983 and again has progressed his way through the ranks being appointed Office Manager in 2009. Andrew is in full charge of all the office related matters and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

KAREN MENARRY – Company Accountant

Karen has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all accountancy related matters. Originally hailing from north east England, Karen has lived and worked locally since 1986 and joined Wallets in August 2007.

ROSS BROWN – Market Foreman

Ross originally joined the firm in 2002 as a fieldsman and when the post of foreman arose decided to take up the challenge. Ross has a strong agricultural background having farmed and held various procurement positions.

LESLEY MAIR and JUDITH COWIE

Lesley and Judith provide the administrative backup playing an invaluable role behind the scenes ensuring that everything runs like clockwork.
